Dr. Richard Baker, Podiatrist

![]() Doctor Baker graduated from the University of Houston in 1973. He then joined the United States Navy flight program. Doctor Baker was designated a Naval Aviator in 1975. He served a 3 year tour on the Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger out of San Diego. He then served a 3 year tour as a Naval Flight Instructor in Pensacola, Fl.
Dr. Baker left the Navy to attend Medical School in San Francisco, CA. He graduated in 1984 and then did a Podiatric Surgical Residency at the VA Hospital in Denver Colorado. After residency training Dr. Baker reentered the U.S. Navy and served as a Podiatrist throughout the world. His last duty station was at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He had advanced to the Head of Navy Podiatry and was selected to serve as the Podiatrist to the White House and the U.S. Congress. Dr. Baker retired from the Navy in 1999 and settled in Cleveland, TN where he has been in private practice until this present time. His philosophy is to provide as much relief as possible with as little pain as possible. He will diagnose your foot problem and give you options for treatment with all the good and bad for each option. |
